U. S. Sailors (approximately 2 1/2" figures) Flag Bearer, Drummer and Bugle player.

These are a semi-flat set from the E-3 Mould available from Rapaport in the 1930's. The set is available as bare metal, or primered. To paint the set as shown you can download the painting guide below that includes the Vallejo paint colors I used to paint the examples. Simply click the download link. Note the Primered models are more expensive due to the time required for additional cleaning of flash on the model rather than the cost of the primer! All models are shipped USPS Priority Mail at the flat rate of $11.00 per order, which is pretty much my cost of shipping. I do not charge extra for the box or materials to wrap your order. Generally all orders ship within 2-3 days of purchase as I do keep a small quantity of models poured and prepped. If it is going to be longer then 2-3 days I will reach out to you and let you know the timeline. Shipping & Return Policy Here.
When ordering from this page you will receive all three models from this mould. The models in the images below are from the same mould as the models you will receive.

Painting SuggestionsYou will need Adobe Reader to view this Note: Based on research, the U.S. Navy had both a "Service Dress Blue" and "Service Dress White" uniform for enlisted sailors in the 1930s. The blue uniform was for cooler weather and more formal occasions, while the white uniform was for warmer weather. It's likely that a band would have had dress whites to wear in the appropriate season or for specific events. If you wanted to paint these models in their dress whites substitute uniform colors as (b) Ivory; (h) White or simply paint all white! |
